Fees

Paying For Your Psychotherapy Sessions

All session fees are out-of-pocket and due at the time of service. Fees for individual psychotherapy sessions are $175 for a 50 min session and couples therapy are $200 for a 50 min. We only accept major credit cards for payment. Payment is collected prior to each session. There are no hidden costs, and fees will be consistent across sessions

Invoicing and Client Portal

All clients will have access to electronic invoices through your client portal immediately after your session. Upon request, we will provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance company for potential out-of-network benefits.

Out-of Network Insurance

Like most D.C.-based therapy practices, we provide therapy to clients as “out-of-network” providers. We do not take insurance directly. For those who wish to seek reimbursement from their insurance provider, we can assist with the provision of necessary documentation, such as a superbill. Clients are encouraged to contact their insurance provider to understand their specific plan’s coverage for out-of-network mental health services. Reimbursement is based on your particular policy. Please ask your insurance company the following questions:

  • Do I have out-of-network mental health insurance benefits?
  • What is my deductible and has it been met?
  • How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
  • What is the coverage amount per therapy session?

Cancellation Policy and Fees

We have a 24-hour cancellation policy. Please inform us in advance if you need to reschedule. All late cancellations will be charged a $100 missed appointment fee.
